IT Project Manager

About the Role

  • 7 month contract
  • 40 hours a week;
  • €70-80 per hour based on knowledge and experience;
  • Location: The Hague


Responsibilities:

  • Manage overview of all business conversions and the system impact, coordination with fellow IT managers of Business, Income, Retail and Ohra
  • Managing various Finance IT projects
  • Provide support for project Integration of Actuarial processes where necessary
  • Drafting requirements, scoring and weighting on choice criteria, choice for tooling and supervising construction
  • Give substance to the desired 'one-stop' function Finance / Data wide, so central role within Finance where business can go for requirements and testing in the case of changes, migrations, conversions, new systems etc to meet all requirements of Actuarial, Pricing, MA and FA is satisfied and clear what these requirements are.

Skills

  • Knowledge of and experience with financial and actuarial systems and processes;
  • Experience in managing IT projects, preferably experience with an Agile method.
  • Dealing with large diversity of parties and interests and are able to translate uncertainty and ambiguity based on analysis and vision into concrete steps that can be implemented quickly and efficiently;
  • Ability to create support and implement stakeholder management.
  • English and/or Dutch speaking

Product Owner

About the Role

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop a Product Vision and roadmap based on the needs and goals of Group Finance, local Finance departments as well as external developments, translated into User Stories
  • Creation, management and prioritization of the Product Backlog based on clear criteria, in close cooperation with Stakeholders and in line with the Business goals as well as the requirements of the Corporate IT organization (CIO) and Security;
  • Clear communication towards the teams with regard to Epics, requested functionality and User Stories that have been included in the Backlog;
  • Intermediate between Finance and CIO with regard to the run and change activities of the Group Finance IT platform;
  • Timely identification of constraints in cooperation with the Scrum Master and proposal for resolution and improvement;
  • Apply, promote and improve the Agile way of working;
  • Focus on operational excellence and high customer service.

Your profile:

  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Business Objects, Reporting (statutary, finance, regulatory) and Analysis tooling;
  • Experience in insurance/banking;
  • Experience in an Agile leadership role like Product Owner;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to enable close collaboration and alignment with end users, (senior) management and other stakeholders;

Fluent in written and spoken Dutch and English;
