Functional Analyst

Endeavour Recruitment has an excellent contract opportunity for an experienced Functional Analyst with electronic invoicing experience to work for a large client in the Public sector in the centre of Brussels, Belgium. 

5 + years’ experience as a Functional Analyst with Electronic Invoicing experience.

It is preferential that the Functional Analyst speaks either French or Dutch but English speaking will be considered. The duration of this role is initially for 3 months and the all-inclusive daily rate is €535 euros.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Be an authority in your area of specialization
  • Analyse the existing systems and highlight areas of improvement
  • Enhance opportunities by identifying new software/services to be developed
  • Analyse and decompose complex requirements
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions, considering the existing building blocks
  • Operate within the organisations Agile Way of Working
  • Document requirements, create functional specifications and prepare wireframes/mock-ups/flowcharts
  • Oversee the development of the product as per the specifications
  • Validate the functionality of the product according to the requirement specifications
  • Prepare user manuals and occasionally organize workshop or training sessions

Required Skills:

  • French or Dutch speaking is preferential.

SQL Architect

Endeavour Recruitment has an excellent new opportunity for an experienced SQL Architect to work for an internationally renowned organisation in Luxembourg. The selected SQL Architect is expected to have at least 6 years of experience as an SQL Architect or similar. Our client has requested that the SQL Architect chosen for this role has experience with PowerShell and has expertise in using MS SQL version 2012 to 2016 to fulfill their duties as an SQL Architect.

The duration of this role is initially for 6 months and the all-inclusive daily rate is €473 euros.

What is expected of the SQL Architect? - Role and Responsibilities:

  • The Architect is responsible for the definition of complex middleware infrastructures and architectures for at least one of the domains for our client. You are a technical leader in the relevant domain, most of the times in multiple domains.
  • The Architect will also assist project teams with technical issues including the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy, research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out solutions.

What skills are required of you as a SQL Architect?

  • Expertise in using MS SQL version 2012 to 2016
  • Experience with High Availability using "Always On"
  • Knowledge of PowerShell is mandatory
  • At least 6 years of professional experience in a similar position

Required skills and knowledge:

  • Must have a university degree or equivalent in experience.
  • 3 - 5 years direct experience in system design or software architecture, spanning backend systems, mobile apps and/or IoT. Working knowledge of programming styles and languages is required.

Objectives

Mandatory: 
• 5 years of experience in conducting functional testing
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in designing, coding and executing automated API tests of REST services
• 1 years of experience in designing, coding and executing automated regression tests using a re-usable test automation framework and tools , such as Selenium WebDriver or equivalent
• 6 months of experience in coding and executing unit/integration tests using a unit test framework, such as nUnit, MsTest, xUnit or equivalent
• 6 months of experience in designing, coding and executing automated tests on applications based on a micro-service architecture or running in containers
