Contract Senior Java Developer

Endeavour Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Senior JAVA Developer for an initial 3 month contract.

The role is for a large Financial Services client in Amsterdam paying €60 per hour. Business fluency in Dutch and English will be required.

The role sits within a team of Java Engineers, responsible for the development of an on-house application within the Risk & Compliance function of the business. The application is based on a RESTful API.

You will be a driven, analytical Java engineer who excels in identifying and resolving problems.

You will need a solid mix of the following skills and experience:

  • MSc. In Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years’ experience of developing large-scale / mission-critical systems
  • Experience of Continuous Delivery
  • Sound knowledge OS fundamentals & relational databases (Oracle)
  • Excellent knowledge of Java EE7
  • Experience of SCRUM / AGILE
  • Experience of building RESTful API
  • Experience of Jersey 2 / JAX-RS frameworks
  • AngularJS
  • IBM OpenPages / Cognos BI / TeamMate / SAS

C# Back End Developer

Endeavour Recruitment has a new opportunity for C# Back End Developer who has excellent overall technical capabilities.  Previous experience of working on Mission Critical Systems is essential, as is industry experience in either Logistics, Automation or Process Control.  The role is based in Leicester and is a 12 Month Contract with renewal opportunities.  Hourly rate of £40.00 is on offer for the right candidate.

Essential Skills:

       Oracle/SQL Server/SQL Query Experience

       TCP/IP Sockets, Siemens S5/S7 and Modicon Modbus

       C# and associated Drivers

       Experience of delivering commercial projects

       Visual Studio/.Net Framework

       Previous use of Documentum or HAL
