This is an opportunity for an expert in 5G RAN Standardization to join the Research and Development team of our client, a large telecommunications company, in Sweden. You will be responsible for 5G standardization activities. Prior experience in 3GPP RAN1 and 3GPP RAN2 standardization, and a Masters in a relevant subject is required. This is a 12 month-contract and our client will pay extremely competitive rates.
Responsibilities:
- 5G standardization activities
- Work with the standardization, system, and algorithm research and development teams
- Drive important Intellectual Property Rights and standardization proposals
Requirements:
- Masters in Wireless Communications, Electrical Engineering, or relevant subject
- Prior experience in 3GPP RAN1 and 3GPP RAN2 standardization work
- Knowledge and understanding of RAN1 and RAN2 related protocol layers
- Familiar with LTE and 5G new radio air interface
- Familiar with LTE and 5G modem system design
