A natural communicator, team player and problem solver, your main responsibility will be maintaining network performance through monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting. The ideal Network Engineer will have gained some experience with key networking technologies such as; IPV4, TCP/IP, QoS, DNS, SMTP. SNMP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP and VRRP. Experience of SolarWinds would be beneficial.
Any experience of with a global WAN, Datacentres, Cisco/HP switches & routers, Checkpoint (or other Firewall technologies) would all help you hit the ground running.
