Endeavour Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Java Developer to join our leading publishing clients. Candidates should have at least 3 years’ experience working in Java Development. This salary for this role will be in the region of £55,000 per anum.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Java Development. Strong communication skills are required for this role as well as experience in a client facing role. Candidates MUST be eligible for Security Clearance.
Essential Skills: -
- Degree/Equivalent in Computer Science or related field
- Java / Java EE
- JMS (Java Message Service)
- Agile Environment
- Database experience: MySQL/NoSQL/XML
- Implementation using XML/XSLT
- Full SDLC
- ORM tools: JPA2/Hibernate
- Integration using 3rd party API’s
- Web frameworks: Spring

- Experience in XForms and Orbeon
- Test Driven Development
- Testing frameworks: Junit/Mockito
- Continuous Integration
- Source Control: SVN/TFS
- Release Management using Jenkins
