A reputable transportation company based in Vienna has an exciting, long term contract position for a German speaking Java Architect.
Duties:
- Development and integration of complex Java and J2EE components, programs and modules.
- Object-oriented system analysis, perform designs.
- Embedding of the total solution into the existing environment.
- Support the Project manager, collect and attend to customer requirements.
- Framework Development.
- Coach and train Java Developer.
Required skills:
- 5-10 years of practical experience in the creation of software architectures / designs for heterogeneous distributed enterprise applications in Java development.
- Experience in Service Oriented Architectures (REST, SOAP), Hibernate / JPA, JMS or ActiveMQ, HTML5.
- Relevant knowledge of object-oriented system modelling (UML, Use Cases) and database modelling (ER).
- Practical experience with build, test and continuous integration processes and supporting tools (Maven, JUnit or Bamboo / Jenkins).
- Working knowledge of software quality assurance processes and tools (eg: Checkstyle, FindBugs or Sonar Server).
- Very good knowledge of database systems and very good knowledge of SQL.
