Your tasks
- Develop and maintain a sustainable BI architecture
- Act as intermediary between IT demand and IT delivery as well as external providers
- Analyze impact of new requirements on BI architecture
- Develop and present potential design scenarios
- Designing and defining meta data models to abstract users from physical data model complexities
- Translate business requirements into logical and physical data models
- Implement and maintain data integration between financial systems
- Develop reports using BI tools such as Business Objects, Microsoft SSRS …
- Developing self-service access to standard and ad-hoc reporting
- Lead data profiling and data quality improvements
Your Profile
- University degree or similar qualification
- 5 years minimum experience in the area of BI analysis, preferably in a banking environment
Basic understanding of general banking business in an international bank and its related processes - Knowledge of banking products and the IT landscape of a bank, esp. DWH and BI environments but also reporting, controlling and accounting systems
- Extensive knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, techniques and tools used in Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and Reporting
- Expert data modeling skills (i.e. conceptual, logical and physical model design, experience with Operational Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts)
- Practical experience with DBMS like Oracle and SQL; Teradata is an asset
- Practical experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Microsoft SSIS …
- Good analytical skills
- Excellent command of English; Knowledge of an Eastern European language is an asset
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in dealing with complex organizations and projects
- Self-motivated and initiative personality
