Calling for an experienced Transition Manager to join a reputable, global organisation, based in Switzerland, for a 6 months+ contract.

The successful candidate will have over 5 years’ experience. A Swiss work permit is essential.

The  Transition Manager’s role will involve the following tasks:

  • Create detailed plans based on an existing high level transition strategy, ensure schedules are aligned with the main Project Plan
  • Coordinate the transition plans execution
  • Manage the schedule of the associated resources to the activities
  • Monitor and Control the progress of the activities
  • Report periodically to the Hague Project Manager the progress of the activities according to Prince2 methodology
  • Raise any deviation to the plan when detected to the Hague Project Manager
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.
  • Extensive understanding of project management principles, methods and techniques
  • Perform other tasks as required.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Recognized project management certification, preferably PRINCE2 practitioner level
  • Knowledge of the PRINCE 2 project management methodology
  • ITIL V3 Foundation Certification or above
  • Good knowledge and experience of Agile project management methodologies, specifically Scrum
  • Knowledge and experience in using project management tools such as Microsoft Project
  • A team player with experience managing cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams working on short deadlines in both local and remote locations
  • Ability to coordinate and understand the work of technical and business-oriented staff
  • Understanding of green field development in a cloud environment
  • Sound knowledge of industry leading cloud provider platform features and capabilities
  • Technical background, university/college diploma or equivalent experience in a technical field
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience as senior project manager for delivery of large, resilient and secure software development projects.
  • Experience in legacy system migration projects
  • ITIL V3 Service Transition Management Certification
  • French will be an advantage

Infrastructure Engineer

Endeavour is looking for a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer to join our global telecoms service client, based in Brussels, initially for a 3 months contract, with possibility of extension.

As the successful candidate, you will be an active member of the IT infrastructure engineering team and maintain strong relationships with your peers from the operational, architect, network teams.

You role will involve:

  • taking technical leadership & engineering ownership around multiple IT infrastructure components:

·         Storage systems

·         Linux platforms

  • Delivering design for new solutions.

  • SAN & NAS technologies: V-MAX, VNX, 3-PAR.
  • virtualization platforms: VMware & KVM.

Good understanding of:

  • Database technologies: MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle.
  • Containers technologies: Docker
  • IaaS services: AWS, Google & Azure
  • Datacenter routing & switching (incl. integration with firewalling layers) : BGP, OSPF, 802.1Q, QinQ, Vswitch, Virtual Connect, VXLAN, NSX.

You will work for Data Center Technologies (DCT), subs Infrastructure Solutions Design or Network Solutions Design. DCT is part of Core Networks & Operations and responsible for designing solutions for our client’s new Data Centers. Day-to-day key accountabilities are chasing input for and create solutions designs for this project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Define, design and document IT business solutions, delivering Business Solution Architecture (BSA) document, corresponding UML artefacts (i.e. Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Use Cases) and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) in support of documenting the program/project scoped IT business solution.
  • Ensure that the solution architecture is compliant and aligned to the published Enterprise Architecture blueprints and product, technology and infrastructure roadmaps. Direct a design change control to ensure that all changes are considered in relation to the end-to-end design baseline. Ensure that the solution is aligned to defined scope but also positioned for future requirements.
  • Review and approve design artefacts for the IT business solution (i.e. Functional Designs, Technical Designs, Interface Specifications, Data Mappings etc.), liaising with cross functional teams to achieve high quality designs.
  • Co-operate with the Enterprise Architects on definition of the E2E architecture to assure the integrity, robustness and efficiency of the future E2E solutions. Identify opportunities to increase reusability and maximise cost synergies.



Required experience and skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or other technical studies
  • Experience in solution/infrastructure architecture
