The successful Software Engineer will be working in a team of four to eight software engineers and will be maintaining and developing our client’s  Back Office Systems.

Your responsibilities as a Software Engineer will include:

  • Perform role of Scrum Master in agile working environments.
  • Prepare refinements and sprint planning.
  • Assist the preparation of system design solutions.
  • Produce detailed design documentation as required.
  • Produce test and integration instructions as required.
  • Write software to implement design functionality.
  • Write test harnesses to test software unit functionality (unit tests).

The selected .Net and Angular Developer is expected to have at least 5 years of experience as a .Net Developer. What is expected of the .Net and Angular Developer? - Role and Responsibilities:

  • Our client is looking for a Senior .NET software engineer for project development (TrackPro, MOTIF) and corrective and scalable application maintenance.
  • As a senior NET & Angular, you have the opportunity to collaborate on projects that are full of technical and functional challenges: planning and optimizing the maintenance of track and equipment infrastructure.
  • This project is both back-end and front-end oriented. Equal attention will therefore be paid to the technical skills required for both back-end and front-end.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must be able to speak fluent Dutch or French with an understanding of the other and English.
  • You have a very broad technical background;
  • You are ready to pass on your knowledge, ready to find a good technical solution for all types of problems, ready to promote the general quality of the code. You must be able to coach junior developers.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with .NET, C#, ASP.NET WebApi, Entity Framework, code first, migrations, Windows services and batch consoles.
  • 5 years of experience with IoC & DI concept, unit testing, Source control (TFS / Git) and Fiddler.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, minification and uglification.
  • 5 years of experience with Visual Studio 2015/2017, Visual Studio Code, NuGet, PostGre, SqlServer and Oracle.

This is a 12 months contract, 90% onsite – 10% off-site, with possibility of extension.

SharePoint/.Net Tester

Endeavour has a fantastic contract opportunity for a SharePoint/.Net Tester to join a multinational client in Sweden, on an English-speaking site. This is a full-time onsite role, initially for 6 months, with possibility of extension.

The succesful candidate will be involved in the following duties:

  • Deploy and test (mainly Sharepoint and .Net) applications and patches in a testing environment using Powershell.
  • Prepare test plans and conduct testing and debugging to proactively identify bugs in application code during the construction phase as well as the validation and integration phase of the software development life cycle including the use of automated testing tools
  • Independently troubleshoot issues into integration test environment, related to the applications under test
  • Work with Active Directory, MS Exchange and MSSQL
  • Create test cases based on use cases provided
  • Create test scripts using Visual Studio
  • Register and track issues using Team Foundation Server
  • Provide reports about the tests conducted
  • Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of a test environment for integrated testing of the various applications
  • Support the integration of new systems into the existing environment
