Responsibilities:

  • VoIP systems with Kamailio, Asterisk & FS
  • Scaling cloud communications systems & infrastructure
  • Management of bare metal servers, VPS's and containers
  • Network management of core data centre infrastructure
  • Advanced knowledge of open source telecommunications software such as Kamailio, Asterisk & FS
  • Strong knowledge of SIP, SDP, RTP & SRTP
  • Deep knowledge of Linux systems, networking and tools
  • Experience with containerisation (Docker & Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of standard audio and video codecs and troubleshooting media sessions
  • Experience with Proxmox preferred
  • Experience with Sipwise C5 preferred
  • BGP knowledge preferred
  • CCNA certification preferred
  • Knowledge of programming preferred

Endeavour Recruitment has an superb opportunity for a Cloud native developer  to join our leading client based in Leuven (Belgium). This is a 12 month contract with possible extension, paying a  daily rate of €400 all-inclusive based on a 40-hour week.

Requirements of the project

You will need to be a creative mind, a critical and outside of the box thinker showing a degree of flexibility and able to function in a sociable and creative environment.

The highly skilled, enthusiastic, communicative developer will build applications with a cloud native design in function incorporating flexible releases and integration with cloud eco-systems.

In-depth experience and knowledge as a Senior Java engineer with the ability to build and design the backend services and technical capabilities in a logical process.

The developer will work together in a multi-functional team to automatize build-integration-deploy-test processes and build functional, qualitative applications. 

Focus on the base layer of the newly designed platform, adopting the best technologies to apply.

Evaluation on how to build and maintain the different components of this layer will be undertaken  during the design and build of the new platform.

An ability to clearly communicate with project teams and stakeholders within the business is essential for this role, therefore a positive attitude and focus to keep motivation high when challenged will be a benefit to this role. 

Detail orientated individuals with good in multitasking abilities when working under strict deadlines will succeed in this role. 

A fluency in English is essential  and the ability to speak Dutch is a positive benefit in this role.

Contract Windows Systems Administrator

Endeavour Recruitment are seeking an experienced Windows Systems Administrator to undertake a 6 month contract with our market leading client in Cork.

Over the next few months our client are implementing & upgrading some key enterprise applications and they are looking for a very capable Windows Systems Administrator to assist the team with project delivery and BAU support.

You will need to demonstrate a strong Systems Administration background across Windows, including VMware, Storage (such as Dell Compellent/EMC) and Cloud (pref. AWS). Previous experience as a Solutions Architect or supporting/deploying JD Edwards would be beneficial.

The city and county of Cork have plenty to offer, including direct flights to major UK and EU cites.

The rate available for this contract is circa EUR400 per day

With our client’s Service Provider Operation, a service provider can be transformed with a real time operation to enable the new business models and consumer experience needed for the Cloud, Internet of Things and the Open Digital Economy. The architecture will be based on Cloud, Big Data and Service Oriented Architecture technologies based and leverage open source development ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will have Orchestration experience in a Network/ Cloud/ Internet Software Provider and/or Service Provider with the proven skills to engage on Orchestration with C-Level executives.
