C# Developer

Permanent opportunity for a C# Developer in the e-commerce industry.  As part of a small team you would be a key member in the success and progression of our clients’ e-commerce site.  Commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Oxford, Cirencester or Swindon.   Salary £35K to £40K DOE.

 

Primary responsibilities will be working on new projects, some of which will be ‘mission critical’.  On a day to day basis there will be maintenance of existing systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn new skills.  If solving complex problems is of interest to you then this could be the role for you.

Endeavour has an excellent contract opportunity for a seasoned Functional Analyst to join a reputable client, based in Brussels, on an English speaking site, initially for 6 months.

The successful applicant will be part of the team managing the new platform supporting the client admission and the future operational workflow tool.

Required Skills/ Experience

Document Processing Specialist

Endeavour has an urgent Document Processing Specialist contract opportunity for a global European organisation, based in Switzerland.

This contract would be initially for 3 months, with possible extensions.

The successful candidate will assist in the processing of images and data received and published by our client.

Skills and experience required:  

  • 4 years+ experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to manipulate images and scanned documents (resize, crop, retouch etc.) using Photoshop and other tools.
  • Ability to process scanned documents to make them more readable.
  • Ability to edit XML documents using a text editor and to validate these documents against a DTD or schema.
  • Good knowledge of Windows and Linux,  Document creation tools, including Word, Adobe, Excel, graphic files tools, ZIP, ASCII Text Editors, FTP.
  • Ability to work quickly and to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of English and/or French.

 Your daily duties will involve the following tasks:

  • Resizing, cropping, retouching and manipulating images to ensure they meet the necessary quality and standards for publication.
  • Enhancing scanned documents which were received electronically in order to make them more readable.
  • Correcting XML data to make it conform to published DTDs/schemas.
  • Making the data available via FTP.
  • Performing the above tasks in a timely manner
  • Using the in-house developed tools which assist this process and participate in their further development
  • Performing other duties as required.

PMO Assistant - West Sussex

Project Management Office Assistant! Are you looking for an outstanding, new contract opportunity to join a market leader located in West Sussex.

As the Project Management Office Assistant, utilising your excellent MS Excel, communication and team player skills you will be an important team member providing ongoing assistance for key project management functions, ensuring adherence to the Delivery Framework.

2-4 years' experience managing successful project delivery processes required.

Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel in particular.

Key activities:

Work with the PMO Manager in supporting projects through the entire project life cycle :

  • Managing the Portfolio's reporting cycle ensuring deadlines are achieved and provide critical analysis of reports submitted to the PMO, identifying common issues/risks that need to be actioned.
  • Work with PMs to ensure that projects are delivered within the agreed timescale and financial budgets.
  • Facilitate risk and issue resolution and manage change control.
  • Ensure that each project adheres to the Group's governance requirements.
  • Maintaining the SharePoint facility for the department and work with key people to improve the structure of the site.
  • Coordinating the provision of tools in the set-up of new projects.
  • Be responsible for the co-ordination of all project status reports and facilitating a project to build a Portfolio Dashboard reporting system.
  • Attend to the maintenance of key portfolio documentation to ensure the accuracy of data.
  • Identify and take responsibility for ensuring key documentation is updated accordingly to reflect the new SFCs.
  • Assist in the management of the Small Projects and SFC initiative budget trackers, working with key stakeholders to identify forecasted effort and expected costs.
