This is an opportunity for a specialist in Modem Algorithm Design to join the Research and Development team of our client, a large telecommunications company, in Sweden. You will be responsible for development of physical layer algorithms related to 5G. 10 years’ experience in wireless baseband algorithm development, and a PhD in Wireless Communications is required. This is a 12-month contract and our client will pay extremely competitive rates.
Responsibilities:
- Physical layer algorithms development related to 5G
- Implementation of new LTE-A features
- Troubleshooting
- Perform extensive computer simulations
Requirements:
- PhD in Wireless Communication or relevant subject
- 10 years’ experience in wireless baseband algorithm development
- Background in wireless communications and signal processing
- Knowledge and understanding of PHY and MAC layers
- Familiar with LTE and its evolutions
- Matlab
- C++
- Familiar with scripting
