IT Infrastructure & Security Lead
Our client, a respected Insurance firm, has a need for a Senior Analyst to join the team.
This role can be Permanent or Contract and if you require a Visa, Sponsorship and assistance will be available.
The Role:
Manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Develop and direct implementation of security standards and best practices for the organization.
Monitor systems for optimal operations and security breaches.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and security.
Manage and coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Manage the helpdesk and support team, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT solutions that support our business objectives.
Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
Stay abreast of the latest IT trends and security threats and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and proactive threat mitigation.
Qualifications & Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security management.
Expertise in network and server administration, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
Experience in managing a helpdesk or support team.
Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001, NIST).
Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNA) will be an advantage.
