Scrum Master with Banking

JOB LOCATION:               Brussels Belgium

DURATION:                      9+ Months (Possibility for Extension)

WORK PATTERN:             HYBRID Role (on-site 2/3 days a week with Hybrid)

PAY RATE:                        € 500 – € 600 EURO / Day (Negotiable)

LANGUAGES:                   French or Dutch or English Preferred

 

3 Roles:

Senior Scrum Master x1
Expert Scrum Master x2
We are currently hiring multiple Scrum Masters (Senior & Expert level) for a leading European banking client. These roles sit within key business domains including Payments, Risk & Credits, and Fraud, supporting large-scale digital and Agile transformation programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a complex, enterprise-scale financial environment, driving delivery, transformation, and Agile maturity across critical banking platforms.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Act as Scrum Master within Agile delivery teams, ensuring effective execution of Scrum ceremonies
Drive delivery with a strong IT and business outcome focus
Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Remove blockers and manage dependencies across teams
Support and drive change adoption, especially within complex or legacy environments
Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement
Engage with senior stakeholders and ensure alignment with programme goals.
Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Scrum Master in complex IT environments
Strong Agile/Scrum knowledge and delivery mindset
Experience working in Financial Services / Banking (highly preferred)
Ability to manage stakeholders and drive change in challenging environments
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Nice to Have (Role Dependent)

Experience in Payments / Risk / Fraud domains
Experience working with mainframe or legacy systems
Knowledge of fraud detection or financial crime systems
Experience working with packaged software solutions
Dutch (NL) language skills (required for some roles)
Additional Information

Hybrid working model: approx. 50% remote
Multiple roles available across different squads
Candidates must confirm whether they have been previously submitted to BNP Paribas Fortis within the last 2–3 months.
