Oracle Core Banking & APEX Developer (Automation & Workflow)

The role involves designing and implementing automation and workflow solutions to improve operational efficiency. Technical Specification

Core Technologies

Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Core Banking modules, configurations, and integrations
Advanced development using Oracle APEX (forms, reports, RESTful services)
Proficiency in Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, data modelling)

Automation & Workflow

Design and implementation of end-to-end automation solutions across banking processes
Experience with workflow engines, BPM tools, or orchestration frameworks
Ability to streamline and optimise operational processes through automation logic

Integration & Architecture

Experience integrating core banking systems with external/internal applications (APIs, web services, middleware)
Understanding of microservices architecture and service-oriented design
Familiarity with messaging systems and event-driven architectures

Development & Engineering Practices

Strong coding standards, version control (e.g. Git), and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with testing frameworks, debugging, and performance optimisation
Exposure to secure coding practices within financial systems

Data & Reporting

Ability to build data-driven solutions, dashboards, and reporting layers
Experience handling large datasets within transactional banking environments
Knowledge of data migration and transformation processes

Environment & Tools

Experience working in enterprise banking or financial services environments
