Test Engineer (Manual & Automation) – Medior/Senior
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Belgium (hybrid – 50% on-site, 50% remote; on-site days are non-consecutive: e.g., week 1 → 2 days, week 2 → 3 days, etc.)
540 Euros per day
Languages: English (very good); French or Dutch is a plus
Mission Context
The role is part of a Customer Servicing and Efficiency team focused on improving remote contact strategies and fraud prevention solutions (e.g., phishing, vishing). The Test Engineer will ensure high-quality delivery of features, covering both manual testing and test automation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain test plans in collaboration with stakeholders
Participate in 3-amigo/refinement meetings within the squad
Plan, prepare, and execute manual tests, including test data setup
Define and implement a test automation strategy for existing and new test cases
Align with other Test Engineers to increase testing maturity in the squad
Act as Feature Quality Owner (FQO) for assigned features: E2E responsibility for quality, including planning, coordination, and reporting on progress and defects
Identify, communicate, and manage constraints, risks, and issues to ensure high-quality delivery
Work autonomously while being a strong team player
Required Experience & Knowledge
Education & Languages
Master’s degree or equivalent by experience
Excellent English; French or Dutch is a plus
Technical Experience (Mandatory)
At least 3 years of relevant testing experience
Knowledge of banking/insurance is an asset
Experience with test strategy implementation and test automation
Hands-on experience in Agile development teams
