Technical Delivery Lead

Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid (Tuesdays and Thursdays on-site)
Duration: 3 months+ – highly likely to extend further

Day Rate: up to £500/day (Inside IR35)

Technical Delivery Lead (Role Brief)
•Manage the technical delivery lifecycle for one or more project workstreams.
•Create and maintain delivery plans and dependencies, working in collaboration with project managers, architects, engineering lead and partners leads
•Identify and mitigate delivery risks, managing scope, quality and ensure we deliver projects on time and within scope
•Plan testing and release readiness with engineering team, business and external partners
•Work closely with Engineering leads and partners to ensure solutions delivered is aligned with our standards and best practices
•Remove delivery blockers and support team in problem solving and prioritisation
•Act as primary delivery point of contact for business stakeholders, project managers and partners
•Translate business objectives into clear technical deliverables and timelines
•Communicate delivery progress, risks and dependencies with transparency
•Ensure alignment between business, engineering and partner teams
•Effectively work alongside QA engineers and business analyst to refine acceptance criteria to ensure test coverage is aligned with business expectations
•Provide support in validating data flows and integrations which are critical to project success
•Conduct delivery retrospectives and apply lesson learned for future projects
•Monitor and improve delivery KPI

Key Skills
•Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery methodologies
•Experience co-ordinating multi-disciplinary teams
•Technical literacy across platforms and architecture concepts(Azure, APIs, Dynamics CRM, CI-CD)
•Familiarity with test automation frameworks and understanding QA metrics, test strategies and governance
•Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negation skills
•Ability to balance technical depth with delivery pragmatism
•Strong problem-solving skills
