Senior & Expert Java Developers
Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)
Contract: 12 months

The Opportunity
We are currently hiring multiple Senior and Expert Java Developers to join a large-scale programme within a complex public sector environment.

This is a long-term opportunity to contribute to critical systems and transformation projects, working across multiple high-impact streams in a collaborative, enterprise setting.

Roles Available
2 × Senior Java Developers (5–10 years’ experience required)
5 × Expert Java Developers (10+ years’ experience required)
Developers will be assigned across several projects, covering core systems, transversal initiatives, risk platforms, and front-end integrated solutions.

Location & Working Pattern
Brussels (easily accessible via public transport)
Hybrid model: 2–3 days onsite per week (flexibility depending on team needs)

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications
Contribute to large-scale, enterprise-level systems and platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple projects
Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
Participate in system design, technical discussions, and best practice implementation
Support integration across various systems and domains

Key Requirements
Strong experience in Java development within complex IT environments
Senior level: 5–10 years’ experience
Expert level: 10+ years’ proven experience
Experience working on large-scale or enterprise projects
Strong understanding of software development best practices
Ability to work collaboratively in multi-team environments
