Project Manager – Insurance Core Systems

We are working with a leading insurance client to recruit experienced Project Managers for a large-scale, long-term transformation programme.

This is a major 3+ year software project focused on the implementation and enhancement of a core system application within General Insurance. The client is looking for delivery-focused professionals who can drive complex projects from inception through to completion.

Flexible working options are available. The client is open to candidates who are willing to relocate to Mauritius for the duration of the project, as well as those who can work fully remotely.

The Role
You will be responsible for leading the delivery of a core insurance systems project, working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of software projects within a General Insurance environment
Manage the implementation of core system applications
Coordinate across technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
Provide regular reporting and updates to senior stakeholders
Drive best practice in project governance and delivery
Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering software projects
Strong background in General Insurance
Experience working with core insurance systems/platforms
Ability to manage complex, long-term programmes
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working in cost-sensitive or budget-conscious environments
Flexibility to work remotely or relocate to Mauritius
