Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Application Integration Specialist to support and enhance platform resiliency within a complex Oracle-based environment. This role focuses on application integration, database configuration, and improving system robustness, particularly within Oracle RAC environments.

Key Responsibilities
Integrate applications with existing Oracle database infrastructure, including configuration and coordination with database teams
Contribute to platform resiliency improvements, with a focus on Oracle RAC (cluster behaviour, failover, and stability)
Collaborate closely with application developers on integration design, technical reviews, and deployment validation
Develop and maintain installation and operational scripts using KSH and Python
Perform application installations and configurations on Red Hat Linux environments
Support system and application integration, ensuring seamless interaction between platforms, databases, and applications
Investigate and resolve production issues through log analysis and root cause analysis
Work with operations teams to ensure stability and performance in production environments

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience integrating applications with Oracle environments
Strong experience with Oracle (administration, development, or support), ideally Oracle 19
Solid understanding of Oracle RAC fundamentals (cluster behaviour, failover concepts, troubleshooting)
Strong experience in system and application integration
Experience working in Linux Red Hat environments (RHEL 8 preferred)
Strong scripting experience using KSH
Basic to intermediate Python programming skills
Experience supporting production environments (log analysis, issue investigation, root cause analysis)
Ability to collaborate effectively with development and infrastructure teams

Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, TLS, firewalls, load balancers)

Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Kibana, Elastic, or OASIS
Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard (replication and failover concepts)
Knowledge of Oracle Database Vault (security and access management)
