Overview

Role Responsibilities

Develop, test, and support software solutions in line with project requirements
Deliver core and customised products within agreed timelines and quality standards
Perform root cause analysis of issues and drive resolution
Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards
Ensure alignment with design specifications and architectural guidelines
Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of development processes
Collaborate within Agile teams and support junior developers where required
Monitor development metrics and ensure delivery targets are met

Technical Skills Required

Backend:

.NET Framework (4.6+) and .NET Core (3.0+)
C#
REST API development
Entity Framework (EF6 & EF Core)
SQL Server
N-tier architecture
Exposure to Azure (Boards, Repos, CI/CD) desirable

Frontend:

Angular (6+)
RxJS, Routing
Angular Material, Bootstrap
REST API integration

Experience & Knowledge

4–5+ years’ experience in software development
Strong experience building RESTful APIs
Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS
Experience with version control and tracking tools (Git, Azure DevOps, TFS)
Agile development experience
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and secure coding practices
Payroll systems knowledge is advantageous
