CI/CD DevOps Engineer (IT Engineer)
Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid working)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced CI/CD DevOps Engineer to support and evolve a modern DevOps ecosystem. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimising CI/CD pipelines while promoting best practices across engineering teams. You will play a key role in enabling secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Support, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Runners
Monitor CI/CD tools to ensure performance, reliability, and continuous improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed DevOps and CI/CD best practices
Support Azure cloud initiatives and ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines
Deliver training sessions and workshops to upskill development teams
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in CI/CD pipeline management and DevSecOps practices
Strong hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and GitHub Runners
Solid experience with Node.js (now a key requirement)
Knowledge of .NET (nice to have)
Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline optimisation
Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, with practical experience working in Scrum teams
Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible)
Experience with build tools and package managers (Maven, npm, Nexus, JFrog)
Good understanding of application deployment (web apps, microservices, serverless)
Familiarity with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL (desirable)
Experience with Azure cloud services (desirable)

Additional Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
