Solution Architect
Location: Brussels (Hybrid)
Contract: 6 months, with possible extension

Languages: French or Dutch + English

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join an architecture department working at the heart of cross-functional delivery teams. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT experts, process analysts, data architects, and enterprise architects to design end-to-end solutions that align with both functional requirements and long-term architectural strategy.

This role is central in defining future-proof solutions and ensuring their successful development, testing, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
Analyse, understand, and challenge business needs.
Perform initial assessments prior to project launch by defining high-level solutions and providing indicative estimates.
Deliver complete end-to-end solution architecture in close collaboration with IT delivery teams.
Ensure solution designs align with the target architecture and enterprise guidelines.
Support development, testing, and implementation activities throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Share best practices, insights, and lessons learned with fellow Solution Architects.
Work with test managers to define appropriate testing strategies and scenarios.

Required Skills & Experience
Degree in Telecommunications, IT, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, plus 5+ years of overall professional experience.
Strong analytical mindset with a desire to learn and innovate.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Fluency in French or Dutch, plus strong proficiency in English.
