Collibra Architect

Endeavour has an opportunity for a Collibra Architect to join our mobility sector client based in Amsterdam.

The role can be hybrid or remote, but you must be willing to travel at the onsite as and when needed.

As a Callibra Architect, you will be responsible for:

-Strategizing, architecting and designing various Collibra Data Catalog for Client’s data management program

-Developing and implementing Collibra Data Catalog and Business Analysis as required.

The selected Callibra Architect will have demonstrable experience with the following:

  • Good hands-on experience in Collibra DG of tools such as Collibra DGC, Collibra DQ etc.
  • Collaborating with business and data stewards to design data catalog solution for various domains
  • Good understanding & hands on experience in data architecture, design , development, monitoring, debugging & performance tuning for Collibra products
  • Must have experience in all stages of project life cycle such as : Development, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Exposure to end to end Data Governance programs.
  • Good exposure to Data Cataloguing, Data Classification, Data Profiling, Data modeling.
  • Project migrations to/from various environments to Collibra.
  • Good understanding and hands on experience on workflow (out of the box & custom) development, lineage establishment (business and technical), data marketplaces etc.
  • Experience in automating refresh of data lineage in Collibra when out of the box functionality is not available
  • Experience in integrating Collibra with other tools like Denodo, Power BI, Tableau, Trillium and etc .
  • Good knowledge of SQL scripts
  • Knowledge of java/python can be big add on.
  • Good to have hands-on experience on Edge way of working in Collibra
  • Develop, implement, and ensure best practices and standards for data governance.
  • Mentor developers and designers on data governance best practices and standards.
  • Perform design and code reviews for the projects to ensure alignment with best practices and standards
  • Excellent communication/presentation skill
  • Dutch speaking

Installation Engineers

Calling for Installation Engineers!  

Our client is looking for several engineers to assist with a large project for a well-known retailer in the UK.  

Night rate – up to £210 depending on experience

Works will be carried out Sunday through to Thursday – Night work

 

Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain systems and equipment according to project specification
  • Test and troubleshoot equipment and systems to ensure fully functional once installed.
  • Work collaboratively with team members including Project managers and other members of the engineering team.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures whilst on job site.

 

Required skills and experience:

  • Previous experience of installation engineering/ Electrical engineering/ mechanical engineering of a related field.
  • Use hand tools, power tools and other equipment to install components
  • Willing to work overnight, will generally be regionally based, but some expectation to travel out of their home region and stay overnight.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members and project management team
  • Physical ability to lift equipment and work in confined spaces where necessary.
  • Familiarity with safety protocol whilst working on a customer job site.

 

Preferred, Previous experience in one of the following fields:

  • Carpentry
  • Shop fitting
  • Jobs where previously used hand tools, power tools to cut, shape and assemble.

You work as well on latest datacentre networks than on video-over IP distribution networks. Skills and experience required:

  • +7 years of experience on network operation and security engineering
  • You are Cisco CCNP
  • You are Checkpoint certified security administrator (CCSA)
  • You are certified CISSP, CISA, CISCO, Comptia security +, ISO 27K, IEC 62443 or other
  • equivalent certification is an asset
  • High expertise and analytics skills for troubleshooting IT networks
  • Good practice with incident and change management processes

Fantastic 12 months fixed-term contract opportunity for a Data Specialist to join global award-winning publishing organisation, based in London!

The role would suit someone with publishing experience looking to improve their systems knowledge and skills, or a systems-orientated profile who is looking to gain their first experience in publishing.

The selected Data Specialist will be reporting to Data Integration and Support Manager. You will be working from home until our client’s offices re-open.

As a Data specialist, your main responsibility is to execute the tasks required for various data quality initiatives. This includes the coordination and execution of acquisition-related data migration, and provide professional and effective support to the users of our client’s core finance and publishing systems.

Duties include:

  • Supporting data quality initiatives, including assessing, cleaning and loading data in bulk on acquisition projects, backlist data reviews, etc. as directed by the Data Integration and Support Manager
  • Maintenance and bulk loading of title data on third party title databases  (e.g. Amazon Vendor Central)
  • Providing excellent first line support on business applications managed by the Business Systems team, including Biblio, VI Portal, Focal Point, Dimensions and (future) Cognos, including user account set up, to agreed service levels.
  • Escalating support issues to colleagues and vendors.
  • Managing the support queue, including the proper classification of tickets in Zendesk.
  • Assisting with systems testing and configuration.
  • Monitoring operations, such as scheduled feeds and interfaces; troubleshooting and escalating issues with these to Line Manager or team leads as directed.
  • Fielding and investigating issues with data feeds to 3rd parties (aggregators and retailers); maintaining a log of these issues; working to reduce issues and improve the mechanism generally.
  • Using third party ticketing systems (e.g. Amazon Vendor Central) to log, monitor and progress issues.
  • Referring data issues to responsible business (mainly editorial) staff for correction and following up as required
  • Producing reports on data quality and open issues for Business Systems team and colleagues within the business.

Required skills and experience:

  • Customer-focused, with a professional, patient and friendly manner
  • Conversant with basic IT concepts
  • Strong systems aptitude

  • Good MS Office skills, especially Excel
