Profil et compétences requises :

  • Excellente compréhension du Java et du stack technologique basée sur Java en général
  • Expérience professionnelle avec 1 ou plusieurs des technologies suivantes: Hibernate, Spring, AngularJS, Javascript, bases de données PL/SQL/SQL/relationnelles, jQuery
  • Un vif intérêt pour les technologies Open Source
  • Une expérience pragmatique avec Angular ou Angular JS serait un avantage
  • Une certaine connaissance des outils et pratiques de développement de logiciels industrialisés tels que Git, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Maven, Nexus, JUnit, refactoring, intégration continue et basé sur Docker déploiement pour n'en nommer que quelques-uns

Profiles
At least 3 year professional experience within large-scale Data Centre environments
At least 6 months of professional experience on cloud environments

Responsibilities
Create and maintain AWS stacks.
Monitoring tooling performance and production jobs
Troubleshoot end-user incidents on infrastructure level only
On-call interventions
Receiving, logging and managing requests from customers via ticketing
Log analysis
Maintain and amend procedures
Reporting
Participate in meetings and training related to the position
Liaise with other technical teams for problem resolution

Requirements
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
AWS Cloud experience, certification is appreciated

A role has emerged for an enthusiastic individual working within operational infrastructure as a Network Engineer that whilst having broad Infrastructure skills has a specialised knowledge of Cisco Routing, switching, and Wi-Fi deployments.

Based predominately in London but may require travelling to regional offices. Involves working closely with project and networks teams to deliver new and upgraded network systems with occasional commitment to weekend and overnight work when required.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and upgrade of network access switches (2960-X)
  • Installation and upgrade of network core switches (4500-X)
  • Designing and implementing Cisco W-Fi solutions
  • Configuring Palo Alto & Cisco ASA firewalls
  • Supporting day to day network operational incidents and requests

Requirements

  • Strong Cisco skills, including IOS, Nexus 5K/9K, 4500-X, and 2960-X
  • Good working knowledge and hands-on experience of troubleshooting network routing and switching, specifically using Cisco Products, protocols in use include Ethernet, IP, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, MGCP, GRE, QoS.
  • Understanding of networking security appliances: Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ASA firewalls
  • Working knowledge of Cisco ISE, Cisco Prime, Cisco Secure ACS
  • Experienced in Cisco Data Centre technologies (Cisco APIC Leaf/Spine Fabric)
  • Experienced in VMware NSX networking technologies

DevOps Specialist - Netherlands

Endeavour is looking for a DevOps Specialist to join a reputable,  multinational client in The Hague, initially for a 10 months contract.

The ideal DevOps specialist will be an excellent communicator and have strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of another language – French or German – would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Review, propose and improve workflows intended for the future state of the CI/CD pipeline;
  • Support the technical personnel in delivering solutions that adhere to the principles, policies and patterns established in the enterprise architecture;
  • Design, code and engineer, integrate, test, correct and document customisations;
  • Adhere where appropriate to the overall enterprise architecture through the delivery of solutions, solution architectures and models, design patterns, principles, models, requirements, standards and policies of security;
  • Perform the necessary implementations, customizations and integrations, based on the current platform state and setup, to update and to deliver Container-based deployments;
  • Interface with corresponding directorates as well as with other contracting services, e.g. in the context of plugin maintenance and process automation;
  • Perform platform maintenance tasks and support build projects in case of issues and in their evolution;
  • Support the introduction of Git/Bitbucket and HipChat, especially during the project’s guarantee phase and maintenance;
  • Maintain related process automation implemented in Java and JavaScript in the form of a Bitbucket plugin integrating the Git application server with the HipChat collaboration server, implement related changes and fixes (where applicable) to this toolset integration automation;
  • Support the newly created Container-based CloudBees Jenkins Enterprise test setup by implementing related changes (if needed);
  • Design and implement a Container-based platform system test spanning SCM, Jenkins, Nexus and potentially SonarQube;
  • Deliver solutions to open, build platform-related Jira tickets, especially for (but not restricted to) Nexus, SonarQube, Docker/Container-related, Maven/Maven-plugin-related;
  • Develop and implement a REST API-based HipChat data export and import option;
  • Trigger and support either SVN-to-Git migration or guide the introduction of code access restriction for development projects that have stayed/decided to stay on Subversion (the process for access restriction is known);

 

Required skills and experience

  • University degree
